Snow Girl and The Dark Crystal is currently playing at the Altantic Times Square 14 in Monterrey Park, Los Angeles this week.

starring Chen Kun, Li Bingbing / Directed by Peter Pau and Zhao Tianyu

From the Youtube page: “Legendary Chinese anti-hero Zhong Kui, a young man endowed with mysterious powers who is forced into a battle among the realms of Heaven, Earth and Hell in the course of his attempt to save his countrymen and the woman he loves.”  I know nothing of this flick, but it looks like it’s a wuxia movie heavy on the effects.

It’s playing at the Altantic Times Square 14 in Monterrey Park.  This theatre is one of the only theatres in LA that frequently run new movies from Hong Kong of all genres.  I’m hoping Kung Fu Jungle makes it over here soon!
